herePersonality: Kendra is an
optimistic woman who has had her fair share of crappy lives and reincarnations. Because of this, she can be a bit
resigned to her fate. As much as she would like to change it, she's been through the exact same scenario countless times over the centuries. She's not willing to fight for change.
She's become, since her powers started to awaken, extremely
fatalistic and is prone to fits of unchecked rage, often in times in of great stress or when she loses her temper. She has been working on controlling the episodes and her temper along with it,
though she still has moments where she is unpredictable in regards to her anger.
Though she tries to hide it, Kendra tends to fall into
selfish and somewhat
self-pitying habits- more in the sense that she simply doesn't think about how some of her actions might affect others. (See: much of her time trying to run from her past, or simply just giving up and accepting her past.)
Because she was thrown into this situation: being a reincarnated priestess always destined to fall in love with the same man, she becomes doubtful that she really deserves anything out of life. With Carter dying so early in this reincarnation, she set out to try and choose her own destiny- but she didn't fully believe that she could have her own choice. Her excuse always rolled back around to the self-pity that the universe simply wouldn't let her be happy any other way and was constantly pulling her away from anyone else she would choose to fall in love with.
Because of all of this, she has a habit of acting rashly, doing what she thinks is best for her and not taking into account that her choices may ruin someone else's day. As much as she wants to help with the Greater Good, there are times where her own happiness comes first and she has trouble with trying not to feel entitled to it.Despite it all, she truly is a
kind and
hard-working woman who
wants to have control over her destiny, but just gave up on that when the going got hard. She was a little too
sensitive when it came to the advice and opinions of others, including her past self.
In the end, all she wants to do is live a normal life, eat good food, laugh and fall in love with whoever she wants, not whoever fate says she will.
Powers and Abilities: Kendra has a few special powers, including flight (by sprouting wings), enhanced strength (though not overly strong, she can still manage to do much of what... a heavyweight weight lifter could manage or more), claws in the sense that her nails sharpen and she can shred things.
Inventory: apart from her hawkgirl suit, she will have the Amon Dagger in her possession and the engagement ring she could have sworn she gave back to Ray.
